QPR – Tottenham 12.01.2013

QPR are on the last place on the table. They are five points from safe zone and the manager Harry Redknapp face a hard job to escape the relegation.

However, his team made one of the biggest surprises in the Premier League when they managed to beat Chelsea at Stamford Bridge in the last round. I am sure the atmosphere in the squad is much better after that victory. For this match QPR will be missing two, potentially four players. Andy Johnson and Bobby Zamora are definitely sidelined, while Jose Bosingwa and Junior Hoilett are both doubtful. Kieron Dyer was released from his contract and left the team.

Tottenham is in excellent form at the moment. They have conceded just twice in their last six games in all competitions. The Spurs have three victories in the last three Premier League matches, plus one in FA Cup.

Tottenham manager Andre Villas-Boas has no new injury concerns. The team will be boosted by the returning of Gareth Bale after served the suspension. So, William Gallas and Younes Kaboul are the only sidelined players.

Yes, I know QPR won against Chelsea in the last round, I am sure the home players will enter the game with much more confidence, but still I believe the quality is on Tottenham side. I watched QPR on the last two games and I was disappointed. They played poor against Liverpool and easily lost 0:3 at Loftus Road. The victory over Chelsea is valuable, but I must noticed the Blues dominate the game. Chelsea created lot of chances, but was unlucky to score. I don’t think that situation will be repeated.
